Working with Lonestar Comedy Club we’ve got another side splitting evening of comedy lined up.
First up, Roger Monkhouse! One of the most original and distinctive acts on the comedy scene. A consummate stand-up who employs a deadly combination of charm and menace to exert a masterful control over any audience. A highly original and quirky performer, Roger’s trademark stage-prowling style and curious, inimitable manner have established him as one of the hottest names on the comedy circuit.
Next up, Andrew Bird! A top headline act up and down the UK, he has also supported Rhod Gilbert and Lee Hurst on tour, and been the warm-up artist for TV shows including Nevermind The Buzzcocks, Room 101 and Pointless. Andrew is also a writer in demand having written for series such as 8 Out Of 10 Cats and Mock The Week.
Last but not least, Wilson! Bursting on to the stand up comedy scene in November 2011, quickly getting to the final of the ‘max Turner prize’ in just his fourth gig. At first he comes across as a cheeky chappie, but it doesn’t take long to realise that Wilson has a lot more strings to his bow – a mixture of sharp observations, pinpoint accents and curveball one liners that suit all types of audience.
Tickets are £15 for Comedy & Curry, maximum table size is 8 people. Email [email protected] or call 01233 756599.
